A distinguished figure at HKUST, he has served as Head of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Acting Vice-President for Research and Development. As the former President of the HKUST R&D Corporation and Director of the Technology Transfer Center, Prof. Yuen brings unparalleled expertise in commercializing cutting-edge research and navigating complex regulatory environments. He is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic innovation and global industry adoption to scale RaSpect’s vision.

Harris, a serial entrepreneur with over 18 years of startup and corporate experience, Harris brings a wealth of knowledge to RaSpect. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Hong Kong and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Harris has been recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and startup endeavors across multiple regional and international awards, including Forbes Asia 100 and World Summit Awards. He believes in building and empowering talented teams to drive RaSpect towards its vision.

Charlie CHEN
Partner & Chief Strategy Officer
Charlie CHEN is Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at RaSpect, where he leads global strategy, business expansion, and cross-sector innovation initiatives. He plays a key role in developing RaSpect’s low‑altitude economy strategy, integrating autonomous drone operations, airspace management, and AI inspection systems to build a connected ecosystem for intelligent infrastructure management. With professional experience across Australia, Middle East and Asia in architecture, urban planning, and sustainable design,Charlie has worked on master planning, mixed‑use, and infrastructure projects that bridge city‑making with technology‑driven operations. He holds dual master’s degrees in Urban Planning and Urban Design from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Guangzhou University. Drawing on this cross‑disciplinary background, he helps public and private asset owners shift from reactive maintenance to proactive, data‑driven risk management through autonomous systems and AI analytics.
