A distinguished figure at HKUST, he has served as Head of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Acting Vice-President for Research and Development. As the former President of the HKUST R&D Corporation and Director of the Technology Transfer Center, Prof. Yuen brings unparalleled expertise in commercializing cutting-edge research and navigating complex regulatory environments. He is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic innovation and global industry adoption to scale RaSpect’s vision.

Harris, a serial entrepreneur with over 18 years of startup and corporate experience, Harris brings a wealth of knowledge to RaSpect. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Hong Kong and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Harris has been recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and startup endeavors across multiple regional and international awards, including Forbes Asia 100 and World Summit Awards. He believes in building and empowering talented teams to drive RaSpect towards its vision.

Charlie CHEN is Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at RaSpect, where he leads global strategy, business expansion, and cross-sector innovation initiatives. He plays a key role in developing RaSpect’s low‑altitude economy strategy, integrating autonomous drone operations, airspace management, and AI inspection systems to build a connected ecosystem for intelligent infrastructure management. With professional experience across Australia, Middle East and Asia in architecture, urban planning, and sustainable design,Charlie has worked on master planning, mixed‑use, and infrastructure projects that bridge city‑making with technology‑driven operations. He holds dual master’s degrees in Urban Planning and Urban Design from the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Guangzhou University. Drawing on this cross‑disciplinary background, he helps public and private asset owners shift from reactive maintenance to proactive, data‑driven risk management through autonomous systems and AI analytics.

He brings over 20 years of experience in AI engineering, software engineering, mobile development, and system architecture. He leads the development of RaSpect’s AI and software platforms, managing the engineering team and driving the design and implementation of scalable systems for building and infrastructure inspection. Andy previously led large technology teams in aviation and traveltech, and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Dhanada, a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, brings over 25 years of experience to RaSpect in structural engineering and health monitoring. Before joining RaSpect, he was a research scholar at HKUST and is a Fellow of the Hong Kong Concrete Institute and a member of the ASCE. With over fifty publications to his credit, he is passionate about the "3S"—Safety, Serviceability, and Sustainability of built infrastructure.

Yolanda AU is the Director and Co‑founder of RaSpect Intelligence Inspection Limited, where she oversees business development, strategic partnerships, and overall company operations for an AI platform that enhances safety and efficiency in building and infrastructure inspections. Since joining RaSpect in 2018, she has progressed from Business Development Manager to Senior Business Development Manager and Co‑founder, and now Director, driving the company’s growth in Hong Kong and abroad. Prior to RaSpect, Yolanda spent over seven years at Cathay Pacific Airways in customer service and administration roles, gaining extensive frontline and operational experience in the aviation sector. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources Management from Northumbria University, as well as certificates in Business Analytics and Customer Analytics from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.[

Tony IP is the Co‑founder of RaSpect Intelligence Inspection Limited, an AI‑driven building inspection startup, responsible for spear heading the company’s growth in North America and representing the firm in marketing, sales, and key client relationships. As lead of RaSpect’s drone operations team, Tony has extensive experience conducting complex UAV missions in high‑density urban environments, especially in HongKong. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, he manages end‑to‑end project delivery for building inspection assignments, from planning and execution to cross‑team coordination on city‑scale consulting projects. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Hong Kong and has completed professional certifications in data analytics, digital marketing and e‑commerce, agile project management (PSM I), and advanced drone operations in both Canada and Hong Kong.

David PLACE leads corporate strategy and market development for RaSpect in the United States. With a background in enterprise growth and U.S. market execution, he focuses on building strategic partnerships and scaling adoption across commercial and institutional sectors nationwide.
